Conjunctivitis, also known as pink eye, is inflammation and redness of the conjunctiva (outermost layer of the eye and the inner surface of eyelids). It is usually caused by an allergic reaction or viral or bacterial infection. Some of the most common symptoms of conjunctivitis are redness of the eyes, blurred vision, eye pain, scratchy feeling in the eye, and/or sensitivity to light.

Urticaria, commonly known as Hives are itchy, red, raised rashes on the skin. It is usually caused by allergic reaction to things such as foods, medications, and/or insect stings. They tend to rapidly change in size and can move from on place on the skin to another in a matter of hours.

Hay fever, also known as, allergic rhinitis is an allergic reaction to pollen. The symptoms are seasonal and may include sneezing, coughing, runny nose, itching (eyes, nose, mouth, throat, and/or skin), headache, and/or sore throat.

Diaper rash is skin rashes in the diaper area that are caused by irritants and/or skin disorders. It causes scaling and mild redness, but in worse cases the rash can lead to pimples, blisters, and other sores. Cleanliness in the the diaper area is the key to preventing and treating a diaper rash.

Rhinitis is an inflammation of the inner lining of the nose and is a very common condition that can be either acute or chronic. It is also known as a runny nose and the main symptom of rhinitis is nasal dripping. It is caused by viruses, bacteria, or irritants.

Atopic Dermatitis is a common, sometimes chronic, inflammatory skin disease which is also known as eczema, atopy, or dermatitis. The skin of such a patient would be red, flaky, and extremely itchy. Such reactions are usually triggered by irritants, food, and environmental allergens. Atopic dermatitis usually occurs together with hay fever, asthma, or other atopic diseases.

Asthma is a chronic inflammation of the lungs that causes swelling and constriction of the airways which results in difficulty of breathing. Some triggering factors are allergens(dust,mold, pollen, etc.)  or rapid temperature changes, which can be avoided to prevent an attack. Medicinal preventions include inhaled corticosteroids(help reduce swelling in airways) and anti-leukotrienes.

Anaphylaxis is a life-threatening allergic reaction that starts soon after exposure to something you are severely allergic to. It can affect a number of different areas of the body at one time such as skin, lungs, nose, throat, and gastrointestinal tract.

Severe cases of anaphylaxis can occur within seconds or minutes of exposure and be fatal if untreated, many reactions are milder and can be ended with prompt medical therapy.

An allergy refers to an exaggerated reaction by our immune system in response to bodily contact with certain foreign substances. It is exaggerated because these foreign substances are usually seen by the body as harmless and no response occurs in non- allergic people.

Common allergic reactions include eczema, hives, hay fever, asthma, food allergies, and reactions to the venom of stinging insects such as wasps and bees.
