Hematoma is a collection of blood outside of a vessel that can range from small to large, which can then lead to significant swelling. Common symptoms are pain, swelling, and redness. Hematoma is generally the result of internal bleeding. Trauma, such as head injury, car accident, and/or broken bones are the most common cause of a Hematoma, however, trauma to tissue can also be caused by aggressively sneezing.
