Head and Neck cancer are cancers that usually begin in the cells lining the mucosal surfaces in the head and neck area (mouth, nose, throat). Common symptoms for head and neck cancers include a lump or sore that does not heal, sore throat, difficulties swallowing, and a change in voice. Treatment include surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation therapy.
