Laryngitis is the inflammation of the voice box which causes symptoms such as dry cough, sore throat, fever, and swollen nymph nodes to appear. It is a condition that is contagious and prevention can be done by covering the nose and mouth when coughing or sneezing. Treatment for laryngitis is to drink plenty of fluids, humidify air, and take medications.
